SUNDERLAND — Sunderland held its annual Maple Syrup Festival, a two-day event at locations throughout the downtown and fairgrounds. Joe Petrie, attired as a member of the 23rd Royal Welch Fusiliers, invited festival goers to take in a visit to the Sunderland and District Historical Society’s museum as part of the action-packed weekend.
